More Browsers for You To Use

Online surfing is not merely a hobby but very educational as well. Because Internet is a very efficient tool, looking for information by doing online research is really useful and convenient. As long as you are connected to the web, you can access data without limits. However, there are boundaries in terms of online browsing.

One of the common issues is the bandwidth of the website. Another is the intermittent connection. They both show that page can't be displayed and you really have to wait to resume the session. If you are getting Windows errors however, you can simply work with this issue. There are really times that you can have something on your screen saving "Windows Error Reporting" asking you if you would like to send it or not. The reality is, whichever you choose, it will still not solve the problem. This faulty application commonly happens with Internet explorer.

Aside from Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox is one of the most popular internet browsers. According to number of online surfers, the first three browsers being used are Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Opera. On the current browsers, you can also enhance your surfing experience through the use of browser extensions. More Firefox extensions, Internet add-ons and RSS readers are available on the Internet.

One benefit of having more browsers in a single computer is that you can have several options. In case one of them crashed or no longer working, you can switch to the other one. Also, the settings from one browser can be imported to another during setup or when changing settings.

Internet Explorer is the built-in browser for Windows. Right now, most platforms supports IE6, IE7, and IE8. During the last few months since the release if Internet Exlplorer 8.0, several bugs and issues are present just like freezing windows and automatic shutdown or browser and worse the entire system. This has been resolved through the most recent Windows updates and so far, users have no more complaints.

To enhance the Internet Explorer installed on the computer, Windows also releases several add ons. Internet Explorer 8 has accelerators to speed up accessibility of information with the use of maps, web searches, translations, and blogging. In the end, the latest enhancement brings out the best on this browser such as faster performance, smarter address bar, better privacy protection, and the compatibility view specifically designed for older browsers.

Mozilla Firefox is built on the pre-release version of the Gecko 1.9.2 platform that is why it has richer internet application and more user-friendly interface. Though the free download on their website have entirely different GUI compared to Internet Explorer, the original settings can be simply imported. More exciting features can be found in this browser like third party software integration to prevent crashes, simultaneous scripting for faster reload, and plug-in alerts.

As an online surfer, using Mozilla Firefox is sometimes more convenient because even after accidentally closing the browser, you can still restore the previous session. Settings can be also modified easily. There has been a lot of improvement on the performance, stability and security compared to the very initial Namoroka release.

Other browsers that are commonly used include Opera, Avant Browser, and Google Chrome. Avant works the same way as IE by having multiple browsing and unwanted pop-up blocker and flash ads. Opera has a very good reputation as well for maintaining its integrity as the fastest, smallest and having the most features among other browsers. And lastly, Google Chrome is Big G's attempt to hide web browser and highlights the applications and pages viewed by users. It is said to be amazingly fast but there are few compatibility issues.
