The Pareto Principle states that twenty percent of the work you do and the time you spend doing it yields eighty percent of the results you obtain, whereas eighty percent of work tends to yield twenty percent of results. How do we apply this information to academic success?
Most students lack essential study skills and as a result, most of the time they spend preparing for exams is wasted. What is the point of going without sleep and getting exhausted when you could study in a highly targeted way for only twenty percent of the time with much better results?

All right, I admit it, I hate my job. I mean really hate it. Not only is it a crappy job that involves long hours and bad shifts, but it doesn’t pay much either. Maybe it is time to think about getting a University degree to open up my options and bring in the big (or at least bigger) money. Even though it’s been many years since High School it should be no problem finding a degree program to fit my needs. It’s never too late right?
