The US Dept of Education maintains an info packed website that offers loads of information to those who are seeking financial assistance and/or interested in education in the United States.
One of the more helpful pages is for students who need to find financial assistance in order to attend college. With the cost of attending a college or university soaring these days that would be most students.
The US Department of Education will provide more than $83 billion this year, about 60 percent of all student aid, to help millions of students and families pay for post secondary education.
