College Degree Financial Benefits

According to the US Department of Labor over a life time a person with a college degree can expect to earn about twice the income that a person with only a high school education will receive. That’s quite a different in earnings over a lifetime.

The following information is quoted from the Department of Labor website:

“College graduates age 25 and over earn nearly twice as much as workers who stopped with a high school diploma. College graduates have experienced growth in real (inflation-adjusted) earnings since 1979. In contrast, high school dropouts have seen their real earnings decline.
